It’s that time of the year again when

Yes, my friends I am talking about Arabian
Travel Market (ATM) which is in its 15th
year and going from strength to strength.
As always Amadeus will be at ATM 2008,
which also happens to be our seventh
consecutive year at the regional exhibition.
This year the exhibition has a greater
significance for us, as Amadeus celebrates
its 20th year of success with a clearer and
bigger direction for the future.
As the preferred technology partner, we

and it is our constant endeavor to make
their business more efficient and
competitive in the market place.
To celebrate and reward this partnership,
Amadeus Gulf recently organized a gala
event for customers and partners in
Abu Dhabi.

Another new development has been the
Amadeus Airline Retailing Platform. The
new platform is
expected to
transform the
company’s global
distribution system
(GDS) from a purely
distribution channel
to a retailing
platform. This is a
major milestone in
the evolution of
indirect distribution
as it will allow
airlines to act like
true retailers in one
of their most vital
channels. Developed
in collaboration with major carriers
across the globe, the Amadeus Airline
Retailing Platform is designed to offer
the best of the GDS world and the best of
the online channel.
These are some of the significant
developments from Amadeus, one that
will allow us to align our strategy ever
more closely with yours, ensuring our
mutual success in the years to come.
